| Barringer Consultants was started by Corinne
Barringer in Birmingham, Michigan, in 1997.
A certified Forensics judge with a background in theatre
and performing arts, as well as anthropology, she has taught
English, English as a Second Language (ESL) and accent reduction
for over 10 years both to private clients and students at
Wayne State University (WSU), Lawrence Technological University
(LTU), Oakland Community College, and Cranbrook Educational
Community - Kingswood School. Ms. Barringer is certified by
The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
A student pilot, Ms. Barringer has completed research in the
field of aviation communication and speech and has been published
in Michigan Aviation School Notes, in Michigan Aviation
by the Bureau of Aeronautics, Michigan Department of Transportation,
and in The Innermarker by the Aviation Law Section,
State Bar of Michigan. Ms. Barringer is affiliated with the
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and serves on the Board
of Directors of the Aviation Safety Counselors (ASC). As seminar
speaker and sponsor, she has worked on the Steering Committee
of the Great Lakes International Aviation Conference.
